This role will be 100% on-site and is full-time. The anticipated salary range for this direct hire position is starting at $70,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations in evaluating manufacturing capabilities and addressing production and quality issues promptly.
- Recommend improvements in methods of operation, equipment layout, and other changes to optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with cross function teams to develop and execute capital projects from initiation to implementation, including managing budgets, timelines, and safety standards.
- Continuously evaluate current processes and develop strategies to improve safety, productivity, efficiency, and the quality of finished products.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques across the organization.
- Initiate and implement engineering change orders.
- Contribute to ISO processes, internal, and external audits to ensure certification is maintained.
- Ability to multitask/change directions is needed.
- Interest in hands-on projects.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited college or university.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent combination and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex technical instructions/documents
- Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- SolidWorks knowledge a plus
