We were pleased to send, on behalf of the employees of Crandall Stats and Sensors a check for $210 to KFACT.  Our wonderful employees choose different charities throughout the year.  Since February is Black History Month, and we know KFACT works with many students of color, our employees chose to donate to this worthy organization this February. The Mission of KFACT (Keeping Families and Communities Together) is building healthy futures for girls through holistic mentoring.  Why girls? KFACT targets girls between the ages of 12 and 18.  Early adolescent girls are an extremely vulnerable population and have the hardest time just being a girl!  Many girls suffer from peer pressure, low self-esteem, generational poverty, inequality, and often trauma-filled pasts. KFACT has provided services to over 250 girls and their families in this mentoring program.  KFACT provides services to girls in middle and high school while ensuring completion of post-secondary education for their college girls. CS&S was proud to be one of eleven sponsors of the February 27th WOTM 2020 Scholarship Dinner.  The presenter, Emma Cahill, shared her compelling story of overcoming odds and rebuilding her life after a life-changing accident. WOTM is an organization that supports the creation and advancement of career pathways for women (and men) in local manufacturing.  WOTM works to accomplish this goal through three educational methods: By hosting educational programs targeted to manufacturing leaders and line workers, providing them with practical knowledge that empowers them to be on the cutting edge of their industry.By providing scholarships to individuals seeking to advance their skills in STEM and manufacturing-related fields.By connecting with partners throughout the state-line area to communicate and provide clear career pathways to individuals of all ages that want to pursue a meaningful and fulfilling career in manufacturing. Crandall Stats and Sensors is pleased to announce the addition of Tool Design Services to our offerings.  Jamie Boone, a Tool Designer with over thirty years of experience, is currently available to provide for all of your General Fixture Design needs.  Jamie is experienced in designing Assembly Fixtures, Punch Die Fixtures, Torque Test Equipment, Calibration Fixtures, Orbital Riveting Fixtures and more.  After reviewing your Goal and going over your part drawing, we can provide you an estimate.  Mr. Boone will then design your tool using Solid Works 2018.  He can also help you subcontract your design to have it built.  If you are interested in more information on Tool Design Services, contact Mr. Boone at [email protected]

During this busy Holiday season, Crandall Stats and Sensors Employees remembered those adults that are in need.  This photo shows the items bound for the Rockford Rescue Mission (RRM), 715 W. State Street, Rockford, IL.  The RRM offers daily meals, a safe place to sleep, and emergency services for men and women.  RRM empowers folks to move from despair to hope and life-change. An association member called and asked what they needed—and that is what we employees donated: coffee, snack mix, spices, detergent, underwear, socks, and gloves, valued at over $200.
