We'd like to introduce our Summer Intern, Ben Cooper! Ben is a graduate of Hononegah High School and plans to study engineering at Iowa State University in the fall. Ben is also a Colman Scholar and scholarship winner through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. So far this summer Ben has been busy assisting our engineers, brazing and doing assembly work. Welcome to CS&S, Ben! July 15, is Social Media Giving Day.#SocialMediaGivingDay is about using social media to support charities by raising awareness and funds for causes close to your heart. Keeping in line with our mission statement, Crandall Stats and Sensors management will donate at least 3% of all ecommerce sales for the month of July to the Rock River Valley Food Pantry. They are a great local charity that provides nutritious food to those in urgent need.

As Quality Engineer, Brian was one of the key players in preparing Crandall Stats & Sensors' Quality Procedures and getting and maintaining ISO certification through the yearly external audit. Brian has developed a strong team of internal auditors. All the while Brian strives to be sensitive to the needs and feelings of the entire staff. His empathy and kindness to customers and staff alike is a great strength. Brian enhances our community with his leadership in both the Pride Kick Off with the Mayor and the Pride Alley Party. Brian is part owner of The Office, a downtown club where everyone is welcome. Brian, we are so glad to "know" you!
